These truly lovely, real Daisy earrings were created to honor Janaki Ammal, India’s First Woman Ph.D in Botany. She made sugar cane taste sweeter! She was also one of the few Asian women to be conferred an honorary doctorate by the University of Michigan. And that was in 1931!
